Privacy

What we collect, and what we do with it.

This site uses HTTPS for every page. The contact form on the contact page sends a plain-text email straight to John; there is no third-party form host holding your message in a database. We do not run remarketing trackers, social pixels or session-replay tools on this site.

If you become a client of Lemoca Financial Planning, the personal and financial information we hold to advise you is held under the data protection framework that applies to St. James's Place Partner Practices, in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We will not sell, rent or share your personal data with any third party for marketing. Sharing only happens within the SJP regulated framework where it's needed to provide advice, and you are told about it in writing before it happens. You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted, subject to record-keeping obligations under FCA rules.

Editorial

How content on this site is written and reviewed.

Every page is written or reviewed personally by John Kentzer. The aim is plain English, accurate descriptions of what we do, and no inflated claims.

Marketing content that promotes specific products or services goes through the St. James's Place compliance function before it appears on this site, in line with the financial promotion rules that apply to all Partner Practices.

Each page carries a "last reviewed" date. We commit to reviewing every page at least once a year, and to updating anything that has materially changed sooner than that.

If you spot something on this site that you think is wrong or out of date, please email or call John on 07771 335 556 and it will be looked at promptly.

AI disclosure

Where, and where not, we use AI.

AI tools may be used to help draft general-information content on this site, which is always reviewed and edited by John before it is published. Where AI has materially shaped a page, we say so.

AI is not used to make financial recommendations. It is not used to run client meetings. It is not given access to your personal data. Regulated advice is delivered by John personally, under the SJP regulatory framework. AI is a tool for clearer writing, not a substitute for advice.

Complaints

If something has gone wrong.

Please tell us as soon as possible. The quickest way is to call John directly on 07771 335 556 so it can be looked at straight away.

Formal complaints about regulated advice can also be raised with the St. James's Place complaints team. Full details of the complaints process are set out in your SJP client agreement. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you have the right to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

What we will never do

A short list.

  • Sell or rent your personal information to a third party.
  • Recommend a product because of how we get paid.
  • Quote you a fee verbally and then charge a different one.
  • Use AI to make advice decisions about your money.
  • Publish a page on this site without a human review.
